Due to a conflict this year with our ASSA National Best of Breed competition in St Louis, MO, falling on our April 4th show date, we've found it necessary to move our show date and location (for this one year only) to just 1 week later.
On Saturday/Sunday, April 11th & 12th, we will hold concurrent specialties with the Steel City KC shows at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, IN, in 2026 only.
In addition, we will support the all-breed entry both days with prizes. We're also planning on hosting our usual wonderful raffle table too. We would love to have you join us this year!!
Onofrio is our 2026 show superintendent. Online entries are available on its website.
Please see the Premium for info on reservations for RVs and grooming space. (We were told we will have a grooming section set aside for our Sheltie group)

In 2027, we will be back to our regular format of back-to-back specialties on our original show date of Saturday, April 10, 2027, at the usual location of Stone City KC building in New Lenox, IL. Please mark your calendars to join us then~
**JUDGE CHANGES**
Due to a family emergency, on Sat., April 11, Mrs. Peggy Browne will judge our
concurrent specialty in Crown Pt, Indiana, in place of Barbara B. Wright.
As a new provisional judge and having never judged Shelties yet in the Midwest,
Peggy Browne is no stranger to Shelties. For many years she and her husband
Geoff Browne (who is well-known in the Sheltie world) bred and/or have shown
25+ Shelties of all colors to their championships under the Bronwyn prefix.
Also, Dr. George Robert Rohde (Rohde Collies & Shelties) will now judge our
Jr Showmanship competition that day.
Ms. Gini Shaw, Shallimar Shelties, still will be judging our Puppy and Veteran Sweeps.
Ms. Gary Whitmore-Kirschner of Wynset Shelties, another new provisional judge
who also has never judged around in this area yet, still is judging our concurrent specialty
on Sunday. She, too, has bred and/or finished a dozen+ Shelties of all colors.
With Bonnie L. Money and Judith A. Brown judging at the 2 all-breeds,
all 4 shows next weekend have drawn 3-5 pt. Majors!!
See you there~
